Unifi Discovery Tool for PC/Mac can be used to find and adopt an AP. It doesn't detect the pico, or any other ubiquiti device that I am connected to. It is essential to have at minimum an option that allows you to "discover all_ online devices", as a diagnostic and debugging tool. My ERX router is found, but it does not find the UniFi APs. Say goodbye! You can throw it in the garbage! These are so embarrassing for me that I don't want to put them on the ceiling/wall. The UBNT Software needs a complete overhaul and should be catching up to the hardware division.
Their entire product line will be discontinued and replaced by companies that can get it. Ubiquiti must pull it off! Windows! JAVA! ! These devices don't have to be so difficult to set up. However, I recommend that the device count be set to chrome extension. This app is great and shows me all of my network devices. I will throw it away as it is impossible to configure or manage devices.
Why oh why does the app allow me to update? Once again I lost my controllers, and must now go to the client sites to get them back.
